A convicted rapist is back in jail in Peterborough
Steven Yearley is back in jail. According to Peterborough This Week, Yearley was arrested on July 21st after he wasn’t present during a police check-in at his home the day before. Police say the 24-year-old was found with a small amount of cocaine. The newspaper also says Yearley spread feces on himself and inside police cells, while in custody. He’s being charged with possession, mischief and breaching probation and peace bond. Yearly moved back to Peterborough in May after he breached court orders while living in Huntsville. Yearley was convicted back in 2007 after sexually assaulting a woman on Hunters Bay Trail.
