Police still searching for missing man after his canoe capsized

Police are searching for a missing man after a canoe tipped over in fast moving water. West Parry Sound OPP responded to the call around 1:45pm Sunday afternoon at Recollet Falls in French River Provincial Park. Officers say that two men and a 10-year-old boy were canoeing on the French River when they hit fast moving water and the canoe capsized, spilling all three into the river. One man and the boy were wearing life jackets and were able to be pulled from the river by other people in the area but the other man who was not wearing a life jacket has not yet been found.
