Mactier man charged after boating mishap

A 58-year-old man had to be taken to hospital after a collision on Georgian Bay.  West Parry Sound OPP was called to Archipelago Township Saturday around 5:30pm after the man was thrown from a 14-foot aluminum fishing boat off Woods Bay.  The man suffered non-life threatening injuries. After an investigation, police charged a 24-year-old man from Mactier yesterday with Careless Operation of a Vessel.
