New dental clinic in Gravenhurst provides more reliability to low-income families in Muskoka

A new dental clinic in Gravenhurst will be serving low-income families in Muskoka.
The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit has cut the ribbon on its new dental health clinic at the Gravenhurst Municipal Office.
The clinic is open eight days every month, on Mondays and Tuesdays, and the health unit’s mobile dental clinic will still be visiting Gravenhurst to serve families as well.
Program Manager of Oral Health Heather Murray says any families using assistance programs through the province can use this clinic.
She says the clinic is set up to provide a wide variety of services.
Murray says this clinic will be more reliable for anyone needing dental care, as opposed to the mobile clinic which can be affected by winter road conditions.
If you’d like to find more information on how to book an appointment and the services provided by this new clinic you can visit the SMDHU website.
