It's An Honour exhibit is making a stop in Huntsville

There is going to be a unique exhibit coming to Huntsville this weekend. The It’s An Honour exhibit and will be at River Mill Park Friday and Saturday. Program Manager Katie O’Brian says it’s been traveling across Canada for the past two years.

The exhibit is showcases great Canadians who have been recognized for their extraordinary achievements. O’Brian says the museum is mounted in a 1,000 square-foot truck.

One of the main goals for this exhibit is to inspire more Canadian pride leading up to Canada’s 150th birthday in 2017. O’Brian says this is a great opportunity for residents to learn more about the Canadian honour system.

You can nominate someone for the Canadian Caring Award given to volunteers or bravery declarations. The exhibit will be parked at River Mill Park from 10am until 5pm on both days.
