Hornets host largest ever minor baseball tournament in Muskoka

The Muskoka Cup is happening this weekend in Huntsville and Bracebridge. Muskoka Hornets Association President Peter Haynes says it started five years ago with a three-team tournament and has grown ever since.

Thirty-four teams from across Ontario will compete for the Muskoka Cup. Haynes you’re going to see some high quality baseball.

Running a tournament like this requires a lot of work, time and money. Haynes says this wouldn’t be possible without support from the towns of Huntsville, Bracebridge and other sponsors.

Haynes also says the volunteers are going to play a huge role in making this tournament a success. It all starts Friday and runs until Sunday. For full details go to the Muskoka Hornets’ website.
