A Bracebridge resident receives the Ontario Senior of the Year Award. Sidney Rosenblatt has been honoured by the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration. The award, which was handed out by the Town of Bracebridge, is for people aged 65 or older who have enriched the social, cultural or civic life of our community. Rosenblatt moved to Bracebridge with his family in 1970 and has since then spent countless hours volunteering with a variety of organizations including the Salvation Army, Big Brothers of Muskoka, Minor Soccer, Minor Hockey and the former Town of Bracebridge Culture and Recreation Committee.
