BREAKING: Police identify the deceased in Oro Medonte human remains case

Members of a Mississauga family have been identified as those who were found dead in a burned out car in Oro Medonte. On Friday at 1:30am, Samuel Masih and his two children were reported missing to Peel Regional Police. At 5:41am, Barrie OPP responded to a vehicle fire on Holick Road north of the 4th Line. At the scene, police found the remains of three individuals inside the vehicle. Yesterday post-mortems were completed – One of the deceased is now being identified as 36 year old Samuel Masih of Mississauga. The names of the other two, both male children aged 10 and 4 years old, are not being released, but police have confirmed they are Masih’s children. Police are calling the tragedy a murder suicide, but they are not releasing details about the cause of any of the deaths. The family is asking for privacy and the circumstances are still under investigation.
