Live theater fans are in for a treat this evening in Bala. Tonight and tomorrow night at 7:30pm Actor’s Colony Theatre is presenting ‘Dan Does Stan’. Nova Scotia artist Dan MacKinnon celebrates the music of Stan Rogers, a Canadian Folk music hero. Viewers can expect to hear songs like “Northwest Passage,” “Barrett’s Privateers” and “The Mary Ellen Carter”. Tickets cost $29.75 for adults, for youth they are $20. All tickets are available online and at the door a half hour before each performance. Group rates are also available. All performances take place at the Bala Curling Club on Grey Street.
