Proposed Gravenhurst BIA Expansion not going ahead

The proposed Gravenhurst BIA expansion is not going ahead. In a recent poll, local businesses and property owners were asked to vote if they were against the expansion. Candace Thwaites, Director of Legislative Services and Clerk for the Town explains what was on the ballot.

A full report will be presented to Council on July 15th. BIA Chair Annette Gillan says the BIA is not allowed to look at expanding until 2019 because of a 5 year moratorium, which was placed on the BIA.
