A Whitby man steals a van and crashes it while impaired

A stolen vehicle rollover has resulted in impaired charges. Almaguin Highlands OPP was called to Leggett’s Road in Armour Township Saturday after a stolen van was involved in a single vehicle crash. Police arrested the 31-year-old driver from Whitby for impaired driving at the scene. He will face charges of impaired driving, driving while disqualified, and theft under $5,000 in a Sundridge court next month.
