Two people killed, third seriously injured following two house fires in Sequin Township

Two people are dead and a third person remains in serious condition after two separate house fires in Sequin Township. On Sunday, emergency crews responded to two different homes that were both on fire in the early hours of the morning. 87-year-old Anne Howell and 62-year-old Elaine Pantry both died. Howell died in her home on James Bay Junction Road, while Pantry passed away in hospital. A third person remains in hospital in serious condition. The investigation is ongoing.
