The District of Muskoka wants residents in Gravenhurst to be prepared for an upcoming road closure.
On May 1st, district officials will be closing the Garter Snake Bridge on Muskoka Road 6 or Housey’s Rapids Road.
The closure is expected to last until November 7th and a detour will be set up around the closure.
Drivers that regularly use road will need to detour onto Barkway Road and then Doe Lake Road.
The rehabilitation project is expected to help with the structural integrity of the bridge.
