Bracebridge OPP say boaters need to respect others on the water

Bracebridge OPP is asking boaters to respect others on the water this summer. They say shoreline properties, the environment and other boaters all need to be respected. All boaters have to follow the 10km/h speed limit within 30 meters of shore. This applies everywhere except where other limits are posted, where rivers are less than 100 meters wide, canals and buoyed channels, and, in the case of waterskiing, where tow boats launch and drop off skiers by heading directly away from or into the shore.
