BREAKING: HWY 11 near 400 closed in both directions

There has been a serious motor vehicle collision involving an OPP officer. South Bound highway 11 is closed at highway 93. Highway 400 South Bound is closed at Forbes Road. Highway 11 North Bound is also closed. Vehicles are re-entering back at 93 onto highway 11. The officer has been taken to Sunnybrook hospital in Toronto by air ambulance. The closure is expected to last 2-3 hours. OPP Sergeant Peter Leon says the initial report indicates the officer was hit by a Canada goose.
