Federal Government Launches $10-million National Recreational Trails Program

The federal government is launching a $10-million National Recreational Trails Program. Parry Sound Muskoka MP Tony Clement says by investing in trail infrastructure, the Government of Canada is encouraging job creation. Over the next two years, funds will be used to help expand and rehabilitate Canada’s snowmobile, all-terrain vehicle and non-motorized trail system. Local Trail organizations are invited to submit project proposals to the National Trails Coalition. For more information go to www.ntc-canada.ca/
