Live It culinary event will not be on the swing bridge in 2015

Some Huntsville business owners are relieved the Live It culinary event will not be happening on the swing bridge next year. Last Friday, the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce hosted a public forum to hear concerns about this year’s event. Mayor Claude Doughty says their biggest concern was the swing bridge closure.

Also discussed was how to get the local businesses more involved. Some business owners are ready to make next year’s event more inclusive. Owner of Soapstones Soap and Skincare Darla Stipanovich says she doesn’t want events hoisted on the backs of the downtown core.
