Local youth honoured with 'Dick Knight Award'

Four youth are honoured with the Dick Knight Award. Family, Youth and Child Services of Muskoka gave the award to children and youth who are focusing on improving their life by achieving their goals and overcoming adversity. Parenting expert Alyson Schafer, daughter of the late Dick Knight, presented the awards this weekend at the AGM in Gravenhurst. The night also included a video presentation of the agency’s history and Muskoka’s child welfare dating back to almost 100 years.
