Environment Canada says cold temperatures still expected for the next few weeks

Environment Canada is weighing in on a recent groundhog report that spring could be on the way soon in Muskoka.
Meteorologist Mark Shuster says the idea of an early spring could mean different things for different people.
Shuster says the long-term forecast shows temperatures sticking pretty close to the seasonal normal for this time of year.
He says there is a possibility the temperature could get a bit higher than normal closer to March.
After that, Shuster says it’s very difficult predict what Muskoka could be seeing in terms of either winter or spring weather.
