It may be the off season in Muskoka, but jobs are still out there. The Huntsville YMCA is helping anyone who is unemployed, or working less than 20 hours a week, find a job with its free employment services. The workshops include resume writing tips, mock interviews, and job training.
According to the YMCA, January is the busiest job-hunting month all year with two out of every five people looking for work. Employment Specialist Heather Dix says looking for a job in the winter season in Muskoka can be challenging, and it’s natural to feel discouraged. But, she says you don’t have to do it alone.
