There are a number of power outages in the Muskoka area after a night of heavy winds.
Over 1,100 customers are without Hydro in the Dorset area. The cause and restoration time are both being assessed. Meanwhile, over 3,000Â customers have lost power in Burk’s Falls, Magnetawan and Strong Township areas and almost 10,000 are also in the dark in the MacTier area, stretching from Seguin Township all the way to Bala.
On top of that, hundreds of homes are without power scattered around the Bracebridge, Utterson and Gravenhurst areas.
The MacTier area outage has a restoration time of about 4:00pm tomorrow and all other outages currently are sitting between noon and 4:00pm today to be restored.
