FedNor invests nearly $100,000 for a youth intern in Lake of Bays

Lake of Bays Township is getting a youth intern. Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Tony Clement announced on Saturday that FedNor is investing $99,000. Mayor Bob Young says it’s a great opportunity for someone to intern for a two-year term to develop programs.

Along with enhancing tourism, the intern will also help coordinate and host special events and implement the township’s strategic plan initiative. Young says there’s a great benefit to working in this community.

Young says it also helps someone become interested in the community and inspire them to want to stay and work here. He says it’s simply a great job to get.
