The newly designed Skating Trail will return this January to Bracebridge

The Memorial Park Winter Village Skating Trail in Bracebridge is making a comeback in the new year.
Organizer Mike Jefford says the plan is to start building the trail as soon as the weather starts to dip down after the first week of January.
Jefford says they have big plans this year for the trail with skate nights running weekly on Friday between 5:00pm and 9:00pm and Saturday between noon and 9:00pm, featuring music, lights and even a campfire.
The committee is also planning a special Country Day event for Saturday February 18th, and once again the Skating Trail will play a big part in the Bracebridge BIA Fire and Ice Festival.
Jefford says Correctional Officer Chris Howey from Beaver Creek will be heading up the construction of the trail.
