Snowmobile trails still aren’t safe to ride

Don’t let the snow fool you, the snowmobile trails still aren’t safe. Paul Murray, the OFSC Governor for the Muskoka District, says volunteers are working tirelessly to get them ready.  He says they’re working to pack trails, clean up fallen trees, and make sure everything is safe.

Murray says heading out now will not only risk your personal safety, but will also risk having the trails closed permanently. He says that’s because most of the trails are on private property, and the landowners aren’t giving sledding permission until the OFSC says they’re safe.

Find the trail guide on the OFSC website.
