Huntsville's regular council meeting this afternoon

An Anti-Span Legislation policy will be discussed at the Huntsville Council Meeting today. The policy outlines the Town of Huntsville’s agreement to abide by the new legislation, which will come into effect July 1st. This law is meant to help us avoid getting spam emails, but also has guidelines on what businesses can send out to customers. This includes asking for permission to send commercial electronic messages.

There will be a special presentation for Marilyn Parsons from the Town’s Aquatics Department and Rich Trenholm for Ironman Muskoka. Council will also discuss various reports and vote on several bylaws. The meeting starts at 1pm in council chambers.
