Local OPP units are trying to help everyone stay safe in the winter weather. The OPP has a Vulnerable Person Registry, which allows caregivers and guardians to send in information about a person who may be a safety concern for themselves or the public. That could be because of a medical, physical, or mental health condition.
If you register someone who falls under that category, police will have more tools at their disposable to resolve any unfortunate situation that may take place outside.
