Local group to meet with Bracebridge council to present benefits of keeping the library downtown

A group of Bracebridge residents are approaching council tomorrow morning about the future of the downtown library.
During the General Committee meeting, the group will be presenting its reasons why the Bracebridge Library should stay in its downtown location.
In October, the Library Petition group had received over 2,400 signatures to keep the over century old building the current location of the library.
Among the many reasons, the group is outlining the location and heritage elements of the current building.
The group came together when the town began discussions on how to improve the current facility by either expanding or moving it to a new location.
Members of this petition group are asking residents to show support by coming to the meeting, which starts at 9:00am in council chambers.
