Have your say to make Active Transportation better in Bracebridge!

If you walk or cycle around Bracebridge, the Town wants to improve things for you.

Another suggestion might be walk signals at signalized crossings. Young says from his experience, the more you walk or ride the better you feel and that there’s a social benefit to it too. He says the committee is looking to hear from people who want to help make the active transportation experience better.

AT The Heart of Muskoka is a Facebook page where you can find information about upcoming meetings, background information, as well as an opportunity to leave your ideas. The Town is also hosting two open house sessions on the issue June 17th at the Bracebridge Sportsplex between 12:30 and 2:30pm and 5 and 7pm. The Sportsplex is located at 110 Clearbrook Trail. Young says we need positive suggestions for improvement from as many residents as possible.
