The South Muskoka Shield Hockey Club is honouring local frontline workers in remembrance of the late Brad Pearsall.
On Friday night during the 3rd annual Brad Pearsall night, all emergency crews including police, firefighters, paramedics, correctional and military personnel in the Simcoe Muskoka region are invited to come watch the Shield game for free at the Graeme Murray Arena.
The Shield will be facing off against the Spartans with the game starting at 8:00pm.
On top of this, $2 from the sale of each regular adult ticket will be donated to the Tema Conter Memorial Trust Fund.
Tema Conter provides support to frontline workers that are suffering from PTSD and other stress-related afflictions.
