District and Bracebridge officials looking to hear from public on new plan for subdivision in town

Residents in Bracebridge are invited to weigh in on new plans for a subdivision currently being built along Douglas Drive near Castle Peak Retirement residence.
On December 14th, the District of Muskoka and Town of Bracebridge will hold a public forum for residents to speak for or against the proposed amendment to the zoning bylaw in that area.
The company that has taken over construction of the subdivision is looking to build 33 detached homes and clear 12 lots to build residential townhouses.
If you would like to speak to the district Planning and Economic Development Committee and the Bracebridge Council about this development you will have an opportunity during this meeting.
It starts at 6:00pm at the Bracebridge council chambers.
You can read all the information on this project here.
