Huntsville council greenlights spending more to extend the Hunters Bay Trail
Huntsville is upping its financial commitment to extend the Hunters Bay Trail. Council agreed to spend around another $55,000, on top of the $75,000 already committed. The extra money is coming from a reserve fund.
The entire project is costing around $600,000. It’s being paid for by the town, the District, and the provincial government. Another 2.4 kilometres will be added to the existing 3.8 kilometre trail.
