Two facing drinking and driving charges after being stopped in Lake of Bays

Two men have been charged with impaired driving. The Huntsville OPP says on Saturday evening, there was a crash on Fox Point Road in Lake of Bays. A pickup truck was travelling towards Highway 35 when it lost control on a curve and went into the bushes. Police say the driver had been drinking. Officers also found the driver at the crash was not the same driver that left a cottage in the area earlier in the day. The 21-year-old from Burlington and 20-year-old from Oakville were also charged with having too much alcohol in their blood. They’ll be in court next month.
