The province is taking some action when it comes to the cost of Hydro. This is something Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller has said is a big issue for the region.
But, Energy Minister Glenn Thibeault says there is Legislation in front of the house that may help.
On top of that, Thibeault says the government is also overseeing better consumer protection rules. That includes a 10-day advanced notice of disconnection, which will include resources to help customers who owe money.
