Gravenhurst High School hosts Amigo Week for its students

Gravenhurst High School is taking on an initiative to break down barriers between students. Earlier this month, the school hosted its Amigo Week, where every day saw different events.

For example, one day was a “Hat Day”, where students could pay $1 to wear their hat. That money was then donated to the Sick Kids Hospital. They also did a “Like Day”, where photos of different things were posted, and students could paint their thumbs and put their finger prints on the different options they liked.

Another day was called “Proud to be a Gryphon”, and students could write down all the things that made them proud to be a part of the school. Huntsville High School even joined in on the fun one day, taking part in an improv day.
