Ontario investing $3M into projects submitted by the public

Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller is encouraging local residents to get involved in this year’s provincial budget process. Ontario has a $3 million dollar fund to invest in community suggested initiatives.

For example, Miller says concerns about the potential school closures in Honey Harbour could be raised. He says it’s a good opportunity for anyone who has ideas about provincial programming or spending.

He says it’s important the public get involved in the budget process because it can help to improve the government, and be a way for concerns to be heard.

Over a hundred projects have been submitted to the province so far. To submit your own, go to the Budget Talks website.
