Huntsville and the District of Muskoka are releasing a joint statement on the recent death of Paul Michael Fenc. The district says it had been working closely with police, mental health professionals, and family members to provide intensive care for the 39-year-old known as JC. The district calls Fenc an independent soul, and says its staff are devastated by the loss.

Meanwhile, the Town of Huntsville says it is deeply saddened by the loss of our community member, and is thinking of his friends and family. Huntsville says the town has been working with the Table Soup Kitchen to get the men’s shelter up and running, while being in compliance with fire codes.
