Muskoka Animal Rescue is calling for “No Hot Dogs”

Muskoka Animal Rescue has launched their “No Hot Dogs” campaign. The goal is to raise awareness about the dangers of leaving your pets in cars during hot weather.  The rescue says dogs don’t sweat like humans. Leaving them in your car is not only dangerous, but can be deadly.

The rescue will be distributing free vinyl stickers for car windows. The sticker will tell you the steps you need to take if you see a dog left in a car. These steps include, recording information about the vehicle, calling police or the OSPCA, and staying with the car until help arrives. Contact Muskoka Rescue at [email protected].
