Today is Geographic Information Systems Day in Huntsville. The town is inviting the public out to the civic centre for a series of presentations on understanding the world through technology.

Some of those presentations include an interactive map of what Muskoka was like in 1879, and a GIS view of the trails, beaches, and public facilities in the town.

It’s all kicking off at 11:00am this morning. More details are on the town’s website.
