Over 1,000 bulbs planted between Bracebridge and Port Carling for Canada’s 150th celebration

There will be plenty of tulips popping up in Bracebridge and Port Carling next spring.
Last week, the Bracebridge Muskoka Lakes Rotary Club with help from the Bracebridge Horticultural Society planted over 1,000 bulbs in both communities.
Memorial Park received a tulip upgrade as well as the Muskoka Lakes Township offices in Port Carling.
There were 22 volunteers in total to help plant the bulbs to prepare for the celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary.
In total, the club donated nearly $2,000 towards this beautification project.
