The Meaning of Home contest looks to build a Habitat for Humanity home in your community

Your child has the ability to make a difference for a local family and all they have to do is write.
Habitat for Humanity has partnered with Genworth Canada to run the Meaning of Home contest.
Grade four, five and six students are asked to write an essay on what home means to them.
That essay could win $50,000 towards a build in your community to help a local family find their own home.
The contest runs until November 30th and students can submit an essay, poem or video.
You can find more details on the contest here.
