Huntsville Mayor to recognize donated ‘Pipe Man’ Tom Thomson monument
A new piece of artwork has been unveiled in Huntsville.
On November 3rd, the Pipe Man was introduced to the town near the docks.
Now, the Mayor wants to officially recognize this new piece of art donated by Pipe Fusion as it celebrates 35 years of business.
The floating statue that stands just over 18 feet tall is a monument to 20th century artist Tom Thomson.
On Wednesday, Scott Aitchison will comment on the new piece alongside the owner of Pipe Fusion Jan Nyquist and Pipe Man artist Beverly Hawksley.
Everyone is invited to attend the event, which kicks off at 2:00pm.
