An official with The War Amps is looking to provide some safety education to students across Muskoka this week.
Starting today, Child Amputee Program Graduate Melissa Muller will be attending a few schools in Bracebridge to pass on the PLAYSAFE message.
Officials with the War Amps say Muller has met many children who lost limbs in accidents and was born as a right arm amputee as well.
She will visiting seven schools across the region this week and will speak to about 900 children in all.

During the event at Bracebridge Public School, Bracebridge OPP Inspector Ed Medved will be presented with a Plaque of Appreciation.
Here is a list of the schools Muller will be visiting:
- Monck Public School on November 7th at 11:30am
- Monsignor Michael O’Leary Catholic School on November 7th at 1:30pm
- Bracebridge Public School on November 8th at 2:00pm
- Muskoka Falls Public School on November 9th at 9:00am.
