OPP in Muskoka works together with the community for Crime Prevention Week

Crime Prevention Week is coming up and this year the OPP in Muskoka wants to work towards a safer and healthier community.
The police say the theme is to encourage police, government, and communities to work together to address concerns, create strategies and decrease crime.
Officials say planning and collaborating as a team allows them to resolve individual situations of elevated risk to prevent them from escalating. They say it also helps community agencies build working relationships in new and meaningful ways.
The OPP will be using social media to showcase the importance of community partnerships on its Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Crime Prevention Week is from November 6th to the 12th.
