Bracebridge officials remind drivers to not to park on the streets overnight this winter

The Town of Bracebridge is reminding residents overnight parking on the street is no longer allowed.
Until April of next year, vehicles need to be off the street between 2:00am and 6:00am to allow for snow clearing.
Officials say if you leave your vehicle parked on a municipal roadway anywhere in Bracebridge you will be ticketed with a charge of $35.
There is also a chance your vehicle will be towed, which comes with an extra $120 for that service.
The town offers overnight parking areas in Bracebridge, which includes the Hiram Street Parking lot.
Officials say when drivers proactively stick to this bylaw it allows crews to properly clear and salt roads in the community.
