Over $2,000 raised during inaugural run of Muskoka Foundry’s Haunted Haunt

Muskoka Foundry has made its mark on Halloween in Bracebridge with its newly created Haunted Haunt.

Starting on Friday, the Foundry hosted the haunted walk event running until Halloween night.

Patrons were asked to make a donation to the charitable organization Giving Locals a Smile.

Organizer Audrey van Petegem says they had an amazing turnout with over 1,000 people attending, which lead to over $2,000 raised for the charity.

She says there were also some food donations made, which will be sent to the Manna Food Bank in Bracebridge.

Officials at the Foundry were assisted by students from BMLSS and Monck Public School to set up and run the walk.
