A Bracebridge Rotarian has been taken to a Toronto-area burn unit following a fireworks accident in Minett.
According to reports. Jean Polak was seriously injured when a fireworks display she was working went off.
The incident happened on Friday afternoon at the JW Mariott.
Polak was part of a group of Rotarians taking part in a conference this weekend at the hotel.
