Slippery conditions cause a few collisions across the region during first Muskoka snowfall

The first snowfall in Muskoka caused a bit of a mess on highways according to Bracebridge OPP.
Police responded to a few collisions across the region as conditions became extremely slippery over the afternoon.
Highway 11 in Bracebridge was completely shut down for a short time between Taylor Road and Cedar Lane due to a flipped transport truck.
Officers are reminding drivers to use caution in these types of conditions, try not to slam on your brakes as you could slide your vehicle and approach stop signs slowly.
Environment Canada is predicting we’ll see more normal temperatures and weather for this time of season next week.
