St. Dom’s students bring in over $1,000 in annual Teen Homeless Night

Students with St. Dominic Secondary School in Bracebridge have collectively raised over $1,000 for a local charity.
On Thursday night, students bought in with $20 or more to have a sleepover at the school.
However, teacher Lisa Theriault says it wasn’t an indoor affair.
Theriault is the organizer of this event and says she spent most of the night awake to watch over the sleeping kids.
This was the ninth year this event has run and there were 45 students that took part.
All money raised goes to Bracebridge Out of the Cold, which offers a weekly free community meal at Bracebridge United Church during the winter.
