YWCA Muskoka has 12 nominees for Women of Distinction Awards

The YWCA has announced the list of nominees for the 2016 Women of Distinction Awards.
Nominations were accepted from July until September for a number of categories including Community Development and Social Activism, Mentorship and Lifetime Achievement.
Around Muskoka, 12 women have been selected as nominees.
Nominees Committee Chair and volunteer Pat Sheppard says these women have shown devotion and passion for the work they do.
The Awards Gala will be held at the Mark O’Meara Clubhouse in Huntsville on October 26th.
Funds raise from ticket sales will go toward programs and services within the YWCA.
