Members also expressed interest in coming to the next board meeting, which is on June 23rd.

The future of the Huntsville Animal Shelter is quite positive. That’s according to Board Chair Peter Reeves, who says yesterday’s meeting was good start.

Mayoral candidate Hugh Mackenzie was also at the meeting. Meantime, there are four new members of the Huntsville Animal Shelter board of directors. Yvonne Chennell says she can’t wait to get started on shelter reopening plans.
